Our story

From a kickabout to a club

2022

The club is born

A group of mates in South-West London come together, pick their colours, and found Hillside FC — laying the groundwork for their first competitive season.

2023/24

First season

Hillside Gold compete in Division 6, finishing 6th in a tough debut campaign. The club earns its stripes and builds its identity.

2024/25

Standards rise

Gold finish 4th — nine wins, a club-record points tally. The foundations are solid and promotion talk begins.

2025

Playing for Tommy's

The first summer charity day raises over £1,300 for Tommy's, the UK's leading pregnancy and baby-loss charity.

2025/26

Two teams, one badge

Hillside Blue launches for their debut season — finishing 3rd in Division 10. Gold and Blue now carry the same badge across two divisions.

2026

Looking ahead

50+ registered players, a summer charity day for men's mental health, and a new season on the horizon. The club keeps growing.

How to join

Fancy a game?

Everyone starts with a trial session — it's relaxed, just a chance to train with the squad and have a kickabout. Drop us a line through the contact page and we'll get you booked into the next one.

Membership is a £120 season fee, which covers league registration, referees, pitch hire and kit. Cup games carry a small £6.50 match add-on. Everything is managed through the Member Portal.

We train midweek evenings near the ground, with matches played on Sunday mornings across the Southern Sunday League. Exact times are shared once you're in the squad.

It depends on experience, availability and where you'll get the most football. Blue is a genuine pathway into Gold — plenty of players have made the step up. We'll always be honest about where you fit.

Completely. Plenty of our squad came back to the game through Hillside. If you're willing to commit to your team-mates, we'd love to have you down.
